Model Rocket Engine Hooks & Retainers

Metal engine hooks allow quick change of engines. Mini size is for Estes Mini Engines (1.75" long), Standard size fits all standard 2.75" long Engines (18 mm or 24 mm, Black Powder or Composite), Estes E is sized to fit the longer Estes E engines (note: our 20/50 Long Centering Rings can be used as a spacer to use a 2.75" 24 mm engine in a mount using the longer hook). "G" hooks are same width and material as our other hooks, but the length and hook section are designed to be used with standard G engines. We recommend the use of the "G" hooks in pairs (one opposite the other). Our 24/29 Long Centering Rings can be used as a spacer ahead of a standard F engine in a mount using the "G" hook. Retainers are used as a better way to secure a larger motor than just by using masking tape. They are indespensible if using reloads! We're currently carrying the Motor Anchor for 29 mm motors made by Bourne Again Rocketry. This is a reliable, reasonably priced retainer system. These can be used with our 29 mm kits, most other manufacturers 29 mm kits, or your own scratch-built designs.
