The Antar is based on a fictional design by G. Harry Stine from the early 1950's. Stine is known as the “Father of Model Rocketry” and was the founder of the National Association of Rocketry. This futuristic design has now been turned into a flying model rocket by Estes.

Featuring a plastic nose cone, laser-cut wood parts, waterslide decals and parachute recovery, the Antar is part of the Estes "Designer Signature Series". The kit is just under 2 feet tall when completed, and will fly to 450 feet on a C6-5.
