The Astrobee D was a sounding rocket built by Aerojet General and designed to carry payloads to the D-region of the ionosphere. The first flights took place in June, 1970 and continued to be used until 1980.

This Micro kit is designed to use the Quest™ Micro Maxx™ engines and is based on our "Minimum Diameter" T-MM body tubes. Includes 3D printed nose cone, Kevlar® shock cord, full-color water-slide decal and our usual complete instructions. Due to the small parts involved, these kits are not recommended for the first-time modeler. Younger modelers should have the assistance of an adult when trying to construct these small kits.
