A great beginner's kit! Easy to build & fly - ideal for use in school & other group settings. The fin design makes attachment and alignment extra-easy! Designed with the beginner in mind, but it's also a fun sport flier for modelers of any experience level.
Features laser-cut balsa fins, balsa nose cone, quick-change engine hook & parachute recovery. Designed to fly on economical 13mm "Mini" engines.

Good model to use to learn basic rocketry techniques - we think the "Neo" series of kits are perhaps our best all-around kits for the novice. Perfect for school or scout groups - economical bulk packaging available. For the discounted quantities of 6 or more the kits are provided in bulk form with a single set of instructions (which may be photocopied if desired for each modeler). Parts for the kits are provided in bulk packing which you then distribute to the modellers, some items (shock cords, shroud lines, etc.) may also require cutting to length - see the "

What you'll need to build this model:

Required: Adhesive (A wood glue, such as Elmer's Carpenters Glue or Titebond can be used for all steps and is recommended); sandpaper (medium - 220 or 280 grit); pencil or ball point pen; scissors; hobby knife; tape (cellophane, aka Scotch Tape, and/or masking).
Optional: sandpaper (fine - 320 or 400 grit, extra fine - 500 or 600 grit); sanding sealer (or balsa fillercoat); thinner (appropriate type for the sanding sealer); small paint brush; paint (Spray paint, such as Krylon or Testors is recommended. Be sure not to mix different types or brands of paint without testing.) - primer; colors as desired & clear; sanding block; tack cloth.
