Aerospace Specialty Products Order Information

ORDERING - To place an order online, simply click on "ASP Store" and begin shopping! You can pay by Credit Card or PayPal online. If you'd like you can print out your online order to send to us via mail if you do not want to pay online.

To place an order via mail you can also download and print out the Order Form (from the "Downloads" section) in pdf format (requires free Acrobat Reader). Fill out clearly and completely. Be sure to add the correct shipping and handling fees (see below). Florida residents also add state sales tax (see below). Please include full name and shipping address. Also include your phone number and/or Email address in case we have a question about your order.

We gladly accept school purchase orders emailed or mailed to us on proper letterhead.

We have a $10.00 minimum merchandise order.
 

PHONE ORDERS - If you'd like to order by phone, you can call 813 - 741 - 0032. The best times to call are from 10 AM to 4 PM Eastern time Monday through Thursday and from 9 AM to 1 PM on Fridays. Feel free to try us any other time, you may just wind up catching us! If you get the recorder, be sure to leave a message (let us know best times to call you as well as what time zone you're calling from) and we'll call you back ASAP!
 

PAYMENT - Full payment (by Credit Card, Money Order or personal check) must accompany your order - for your own good, please do not send cash through the mail! The exception are school purchase orders on proper letterhead/forms. Sorry, but no COD orders are accepted. All payments must be in US funds. Please make all checks and money orders payable to: AEROSPACE SPECIALITY PRODUCTS. In the rare event we get a bad check, the issuer will be charged a fee of $30.00 to cover fees imposed on us by our bank.
 

SHIPPING & BACKORDERS - Most orders are usually shipped within two working days (unless we're off at a launch somewhere!). Most domestic shipments are by USPS Priority Mail or UPS, lightweight orders may be sent via First Class Mail. Books, dvds, etc are normally sent via USPS Media Mail.
Please note that due to federal shipping regulations, we can only ship motors and igniters via USPS Ground in the Continental US. Our standard shipping charges apply.
 
Any orders that contain motors and/or igniters (including Starter Sets), will be sent via USPS Ground. Other items may require ground shipping (sanding sealers, paints, etc.), this will be noted on the pages of those items on the web site. If you are ordering other items that do not require ground shipment and would like them shipped via Priority/First Class Mail or UPS, those items will be considered as a separate order and standard shipping charges will apply for both orders. Please ask if you have any questions on proper shipping costs. Be sure to allow a few extra shipping days for ground. We cannot export motors.
 
Out of stock items will be back - ordered and shipped at our expense as soon as possible. If a delay of more than two weeks is expected, you will be notified and a refund or credit will issued if you so desire.
 

SHIPPING & HANDLING FEES (Domestic) - if merchandise total is:
 
    * from $10.00 to $25.00, add $8.95
    * from $25.01 to $50.00, add $10.95
    * from $50.01 to $75.00, add $13.95
    * from $75.01 to $100.00 add $14.95
    * $100.01 & up add 15% of merchandise total.


Please note that due to new USPS fees starting in April 2022, longer boxes may now incur additional shipping charges due to these fees, or by the necessity of shipping via UPS. Bulky orders may also incur additional charges due to dimensional weight. We will contact you prior to shipment if any of this applies to your order and let you know what the additional charges may be for your approval. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Depending on the items in the order, shipping rates to Hawaii and Alaska may be different than listed above. We will contact you if different rates apply to your order.

 
OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES

At this time we are not shipping any orders outside of the United States except to Canada, we apologize for any inconvenience.
Please note that our shopping cart does not calculate international shipping and handling charges. We will have to pack and weigh your order to get you a quote on your shipping and handling charges and shipping options - it may take us and extra day or two to complete this, so we appreciate your patience. We will email you with the correct rates for your approval prior to shipping. We will then send you a request through PayPal (you can use a PayPal account or pay via credit card through PayPal) and we will ship your order as soon as possible.
We do not recommend shipping long (30") tubes internationally as the chance of damage is very high and we cannot be responsible for how the packages are handled once they leave the US. If you still wish to order those they will be sent at customer risk.
We cannot ship engines or igniters outside the continental United States.
Canadian customers: Due to changes in the Postal Service rates in 2016, we now have to calculate Canadian rates the same way we do other countries as stated above. Note that orders that will require a shipping box longer than 24" (which will be all items containing long body tubes) are now subject to an additional surcharge by the Postal Service.


SALES TAX - Florida residents please add the appropriate sales tax for the county you live in. If you are ordering online our shopping cart will calculate the rate for you. Please note that the State of Florida requires we collect tax on the total order, including shipping and handling fees.
 

PROBLEMS - If there is any problem with your order, we want to know right away so that we can fix it ASAP! Email us by clicking on the Contact Us link at the top of the page or call us with the problem. If your shipment is damaged in transit, be sure to notify the carrier as well. Please contact us for instructions before attempting to return any items.

RETURNS - In most cases we can take back unused, undamaged/like new items in original packaging (if applicable) within 30 days of purchase. We cannot take returns on any engines. You have to pay shipping back to us and we cannot refund any original shipping charges. A 15% restocking fee will be applied. If items are damaged in shipping back to us we cannot credit you unless the shipment was insured and we can get the value of the damage taken care of by the shipper. Please contact us about the item(s) and the reason for return for approval before sending anything back.
 

LIABILITY - As we cannot control the use or storage of the products on this site, Aerospace Speciality Products assumes no liability connected with the use or storage of its products other than replacement or refund for those products determined by us to be defective in manufacture.
