Black Brant XII Model Rocket Kit (Estes)
New scale model of the Canadian Black Brant XII sounding rocket! Recommended for the experienced builder, this model should be a great addition to the fleet of any scale modeller!
This 1/14 scale kit from Estes is 2.22 inches in diameter and just over 4 1/2 feet tall. Includes laser-cut wood and molded plastic fins, plastic nose cone, waterslide decals and 24" nylon parachute.

Recommended Engines: E16-6, F15-6 (note that we do not currently carry these specific Estes engines, but this model should certainly be capable of flying well on several composite engines in the E and F range that we do have available).

Scissors, pencil, ruler, fine sandpaper, epoxy, carpenter’s glue, plastic cement, hobby knife, masking tape, primer (white), paint (black, white) and clear coat (optional). Tools, construction and finishing supplies not included.
What else you'll need to fly this model:
Electronic launch system (depending on your engine choice, you may need one capable of igniting a composite engine); launch pad with 3/16" rod; recovery wadding; engines (see list of recommended engines above).
